About this collection
LIMINAL returned YUIMA NAKAZATO to a physical Paris runway after a two-year interruption. The collection explored thresholds between human and non-human form through responsive textiles, biological material and chimera-like silhouettes. Its movement in a live setting reasserted the bodily and tactile dimensions of technologies that had largely been communicated through film during the pandemic.
