About this collection
NINETY-SIX drew on the Australian television series Number 96, using a distinctly local cultural reference within Zimmermann’s mature New York runway language. The collection joined the house’s romantic dresses and fluid surface work with the sharper, more complete wardrobe that had developed across the late 2010s, reinforcing Nicky Zimmermann’s use of Australian social and visual history as collection material.
