About this collection
Illumination used material from Albert Falzon’s Australian surf film Morning of the Earth with permission, connecting Zimmermann’s long resort and coastal vocabulary to a specific cultural source. The runway at Palais de Tokyo integrated bags, shoes and jewellery throughout the looks. Braided construction and the film material gave the season a clearly bounded craft and image framework.
