7 For All Mankind

Nicola Brognano’s first collection for 7 For All Mankind was also the Los Angeles brand’s first full runway show. Presented in New York, it returned to skinny jeans, bootcut legs, fitted denim jackets and pronounced fading, using narrow proportions and early-2000s styling to reconnect the label with the period in which its premium jeans became widely recognisable.

The show expanded that product memory into ready-to-wear rather than treating denim as a single category. Layered knitwear, outerwear and coordinated separates gave the jeans a seasonal context, while the casting and front-row strategy placed the revival within a contemporary New York fashion-week setting.
