About this collection
Acne Studios reworked Fjällräven products including the Kånken backpack and Expedition down jacket through enlarged scale, altered colour and fashion-led proportion. Functional outdoor archetypes remained recognisable while their familiar dimensions and styling were made deliberately unstable.
The collaboration joined two Swedish companies with very different relations to utility: Fjällräven’s equipment culture and Acne Studios’ use of function as a base for visual distortion.
