About this collection
Grant Levy-Lucero’s painted references to Californian shop signs, packaging and roadside typography were transferred across casual clothing and accessories. The capsule used text as both local memory and graphic interruption, placing commercial vernacular on organic cotton and certified wool pieces.
The 2021 release extended an earlier relationship with the artist and showed how Acne Studios could turn a collaborator’s ceramic and painted language into a repeatable clothing surface without imitating the original objects.
