About this collection
Acne Studios worked with Kero, a Swedish leather company founded in 1929, on shoes derived from traditional beak-shaped footwear associated with northern Scandinavian and Sámi material culture. Slip-on and knee-high forms retained the upturned toe while moving the construction into the Acne Studios wardrobe.
The capsule connected Johansson’s childhood memory of wearing Kero shoes to the house’s broader habit of reworking familiar Swedish objects through proportion, styling and luxury production.
