About this collection
The Mulberry collaboration combined British leather-goods construction with Acne Studios’ Musubi knots, exaggerated buckles and preference for hybrid forms. Existing bag families were reworked rather than simply carrying two names, including combinations of the Bayswater and Musubi vocabularies.
The project demonstrated the house’s ability to intervene in an established product archive through proportion and hardware while respecting Mulberry’s material and manufacturing identity.
