About this collection
Acne Studios presented its first London Fashion Week runway inside Lord Snowdon’s former apartment at Kensington Palace. The royal domestic setting sharpened the contrast between controlled, monochrome clothing and the label’s younger, less deferential approach to international fashion.
The collection established the starting point for TFDB’s Acne Studios runway chronology. Its streamlined colour blocks, elongated lines and relaxed construction showed a company moving decisively beyond a denim label while retaining the plain wardrobe forms that had built its commercial base.
