Jonathan Lyndon Chase transformed the Observatoire de Paris into a complicated domestic environment for Spring/Summer 2025. Soft sculptures, improvised furniture and framed works created a setting concerned with intimacy, Black subjectivity and queer domestic space.

Johansson responded with unstable proportions, distressed surfaces and clothing that moved between private comfort and public display. The relationship later expanded into a capsule and exhibition programme, making the runway the first stage of a broader artistic exchange.
