About this collection
Le Monde Flottant was Boloria’s first runway collection, presented at Lycée Carnot in Paris on 5 July 2026. The co-ed Spring/Summer 2027 collection opened with monumental pannier gowns in dark taffeta before moving through draped, bed-sheet-like forms into a wardrobe of elongated tailoring, waistcoats, narrow trousers, rainwear, knitwear, leather and bias-cut dresses.
The title invoked the Japanese idea of the floating world and organised the show as a movement from dream into daily life. Taffeta, organza, tulle, silk, lace, wool and cashmere carried the collection’s contrast between theatrical volume and functional clothing, while understated embroidery and lace-veiled tailoring established a material language without relying on visible logos.
