About this collection
Brutalism was staged in a raw underground parking structure beside the Seine, using the concrete environment as a direct extension of the collection’s black, white and grey surfaces. Coal-miner references, raw-edged denim, structural panels and long lengths of seam tape created silhouettes that dragged, marked and moved against the floor.
The show treated venue, colour restriction and garment construction as one system. Its industrial space and controlled visual field made it one of the clearest late-period statements of the mainline’s architectural approach.
