About this collection
Classicism redirected Saberi’s draped and protective wardrobe towards European formal tailoring. Reversible suits, exposed linings, elongated jackets and deconstructed lapels retained the body-led pattern work while introducing a clearer dialogue with the conventions of the men’s suit.
The collection did not abandon treated surface or asymmetry; it used those methods to open the structure of formal clothing. It also formed the endpoint of the first major monographic archive of Saberi’s work.
