Spring/Summer 2011 made material processing the collection’s principal structure. Transparent golden leather, oil and grease treatments and narrow anatomical layers pushed leather away from opaque armour and towards a surface that revealed light, wear and construction.

The collection is consistently treated as a major technical milestone, although the title survives as both Skin-Mechanism and Mechanism. The season-led record preserves that conflict without weakening the verified material significance.
