About this collection
Eldorado approached glamour as a form of resistance, drawing on the hedonism and precarity of the Weimar Republic without reproducing it as period costume. The Art Deco ballroom at Claridge’s became a social setting for embroidered satin, rugby jerseys, denim and feathered eveningwear, with friends and trans women from the label’s community occupying the runway.
Repurposed vintage fur, floral embroidery, faux-fur ceremony and a closing wedding gown moved between everyday dressing and deliberate excess. The collection retained Ives’s collage of sportswear and demi-couture while showing a more disciplined commercial structure after the 2025 BFC/Vogue award, making joy, sociability and survival part of the same design argument.
