Dries Van Noten

Autumn/Winter 2024 was Dries Van Noten’s final womenswear collection as creative director. Hoodies, iridescent sequins, reversed shirts and spontaneous-looking combinations placed ordinary garments against reflective and decorative surfaces, returning the founder’s work to the practical act of styling.

The collection did not operate as an announced farewell when it was presented, but it now stands as the closing womenswear statement of his tenure. Its contradictions were handled through wearability rather than retrospective symbolism.
