Dries Van Noten

Julian Klausner presented his first Dries Van Noten womenswear runway collection as creative director at the Palais Garnier on 5 March 2025. Jewel tones, foulard prints and substantial coats retained the house’s textile vocabulary, while exposed stitching, tactile assembly and more theatrical proportion shifted its construction.

The collection was the first complete public measure of the succession. It established continuity without treating Van Noten’s archive as a fixed set of motifs, leaving Klausner’s longer-term direction open to development across later seasons.
