Dries Van Noten

Spring/Summer 2015 placed layered, tactile womenswear against a moss-like carpet created by Alexandra Kehayoglou. The setting drew the collection’s interest in gardens, surface and softness into the physical space of the runway without competing with the clothes.

The collection is a useful record of how Van Noten connected natural imagery to textile construction and show design. Its significance rests as much in the atmosphere of the presentation as in any single garment.
