About this collection
Spring/Summer 2020 was developed by Dries Van Noten with Christian Lacroix. Flamenco ruffles, matador jackets, gigot sleeves, polka dots and saturated colour entered a collection of faded florals, jacquards, printed organza and layered surface.
The project was presented as a meeting of practices rather than a commercial capsule. Lacroix’s couture exuberance remained visible, but it was organised through Van Noten’s textile research and ready-to-wear construction.
