About this collection
Spring/Summer 2015 centred on the nineteenth-century botanical painter Marianne North. Her intensely observed plant imagery gave ERDEM a historical source for saturated floral colour and dense surface treatment, placing the season within the house’s continuing study of women whose lives and work could be translated through textile and silhouette.
