About this collection
Spring/Summer 2018 followed sanctioned access to the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle, where Erdem Moralioglu examined Queen Elizabeth II’s 1950s wardrobe with curator Caroline de Guitaut. The collection reworked mid-century royal dress through voluminous jacquards, padded peplums and jewel-embroidered gloves, giving institutional archive access a direct material presence on the runway.
