About this collection
Made in China confronted the phrase’s association with cheap mass production by turning it into the collection’s most visible sign. Oversized overalls, technical windbreakers and sportswear shapes carried three-dimensional red stamps and earthy colour drawn from Wang’s native Fujian, placing Chinese manufacture and identity at the centre of an international New York runway.
