About this collection
Lemaire’s Spring–Summer 2012 collection used cotton batiste, linen and shantung silk with ladder-stitch details and a palette of neutrals, curry, papaya and electric blue. The Kachinas scarf print moved across dresses and jackets, making silk part of the garment structure.
The season clarified his Hermès method: natural materials, long lines and ease of movement held together by concentrated colour and precise finishing.
