Immortal Rock Spirit turns Autumn/Winter 2021 into a Tokyo-stage encounter between womenswear, concert culture and collaboration. Rock T-shirts, glam-rock styling and partner imagery from Versace and Levi’s are folded into Junya Watanabe’s construction system rather than treated as merch-like decoration. The Toyosu Pit theatre setting intensifies the music charge, giving the clothes a live-performance edge. The collection shows Watanabe using fandom, graphic history and brand collaboration as active material inside the garments’ structure, mood, styling and attitude, all under a rock-saturated stage image.
