Autumn/Winter 2025 brings Junya Watanabe’s womenswear into a Hendrix-inspired field of Cubist rock forms. Music reference is translated through angular fragmentation rather than straightforward tribute, giving the clothes a broken, amplified rhythm. The collection sits near Watanabe’s late assemblage language, where cultural memory, object-like construction and subcultural energy are pulled into the same silhouette. Rock history becomes a way to organise shape: sharp, graphic, layered and slightly electric, with the body positioned inside a fractured stage image, sound-world and visual riff.
