About this collection

For Spring/Summer 2026, Junya Watanabe womenswear returned to the designer’s long-running interest in making garments from unlikely structures. Presented in Paris on 4 October 2025, the collection was described through a haute-couture-like handling of found objects and reconstructed materials. Its force lies in the friction between salon polish and assembled fragments: clothing appears pieced, salvaged and re-composed rather than simply decorated. Within Watanabe’s late work, the season sharpens his garment-as-object logic into a more openly collage-based, tactile and material-driven language.
