About this collection
1984 used George Orwell’s novel to examine surveillance, uniform and obedience. Dark khaki, bone and black gave institutional weight to tailored coats and suits, while slits, transparency and exposed bodywear interrupted the apparent discipline of the wardrobe. Wool developed with Kvadrat connected the collection to LGN’s International Woolmark Prize work.
