About this collection
During the first pandemic couture season, Galliano and Nick Knight converted Artisanal into a film project that exposed remote research, fittings, cutting and image production. S.W.A.L.K.—an acronym for “Sealed With A Loving Kiss”—made process documentation, split-screen communication and cinematic editing part of the collection rather than a substitute for a missing runway.
