Maison Margiela combined ready-to-wear and Artisanal on one runway inside a Shanghai shipyard. Flea-market objects, waxed surfaces, porcelain effects and complex drapery placed singular craft beside the seasonal wardrobe, while the show opened the MaisonMargiela/folders exhibition programme.
