Under Pont Alexandre III, Galliano staged a nocturnal Paris populated by corseted bodies, translucent dresses, wet-look surfaces, broken tailoring and Pat McGrath’s porcelain make-up. The collection united character, couture construction, performance and image at exceptional intensity and became his final runway for Maison Margiela.
