Marie Adam-Leenaerdt

The debut collection established Marie Adam-Leenaerdt's method through table linens, folded napkins, standing cocktail tables and other objects associated with corporate hospitality. Presented in a hotel conference room, the clothes translated those references into enveloping dresses, geometric tailoring and adaptable accessories without disguising their ordinary origins.

Reversible skirts, versatile wrap pieces and multi-part bags and boots introduced a wardrobe designed to change with circumstance. Black, pink and ivory sharpened the contrast between formal materials and the collection's dry treatment of domestic and bureaucratic objects.
