About this collection
Johnny Coca’s first public Mulberry collection was staged at Guildhall in February 2016. Post-punk references and military inflections moved through capes, tailoring, dense surface detail and press-stud hardware, while the Clifton bag and a revised leather-goods language anchored the commercial offer.
The medieval civic setting sharpened the collection’s British contradictions: ceremonial architecture against hard-edged styling, and archive hardware against a cleaner typographic identity. It was the first complete runway demonstration of Coca’s house-wide authority after the 2013–15 studio interval.
