About this collection
Mulberry occupied Spencer House for two days around Spring/Summer 2018, joining Johnny Coca’s collection to craft demonstrations, talks and installations. The runway used emphatic colour, structured leather goods and extreme millinery by Noel Stewart against the ceremonial rooms of the eighteenth-century house.
Beyond Heritage described the wider event more securely than an independent collection title. Its importance lies in the presentation conditions: clothing, bags, making and public access were staged together, turning a historic interior into a temporary working environment for the contemporary house.
