Paris Jade Burrows

The Void translated Paris Jade Burrows's couture vocabulary into a made-to-order ready-to-wear line, presented inside a painted Federation-era home in Sydney's north. Restricted largely to black and cream and accompanied by Franz Liszt, the collection treated domestic rooms as an intimate runway environment for what Burrows described as everyday costumes for Victorian ghosts.

The shift was visible in the editing rather than in a change of production method. The buried ruffle slip dress returned in cleaner black and white versions, the sheer X-ray pencil skirt was rebuilt in opaque fabrics, and shaped titanium cuffs introduced a harder accessory element. Historical drape, long lines and ghostly restraint remained intact, but the collection removed much of the debut's scenic damage to produce a more direct wardrobe.
