About this collection
Presented at the Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea, the collection treated leather less as a rigid skin than as a fabric. Crinkled patent peacoats, bonded trenches, paper-thin cape coats and laser-cut shirtdresses tested how far the house’s core material could be lightened and restructured.
Windowpane checks and carpet-derived lozenges were inlaid like mosaic, giving the approximately thirty-look runway a precise graphic order. The collection remains a key technical statement in Facchinetti’s six-season sequence.
