About this collection
Facchinetti’s final Tod’s collection combined fur-collared trenches, narrow suiting, biker jackets, bombers, tea-length kilts and charm-laden Gommino variants. Metal rings and attachments continued the hardware language introduced in the preceding season.
Vanessa Beecroft’s installation placed models on worktables while Tod’s artisans sewed leather garments around them. Beecroft authored the performance environment, Facchinetti directed the fashion collection and the artisans supplied both technical labour and the live presentation condition.
