About this collection
Published during the first COVID-era disruption, Inside Tod’s Studio presented Resort 2021 men’s and women’s work through the Marche design and manufacturing environment. The film showed artisans handling materials and products while Chiapponi described the collections as the result of continuing discussion with the house’s craftspeople.
Its importance lies in the presentation condition and authorship evidence: no audience-facing runway was possible, and the digital format made development labour visible instead. This row is included under the project’s controlling exception for notable COVID-era digital presentations.
