Autumn/Winter 2012 was shown privately to press and buyers in London, continuing Ford’s refusal of immediate runway exposure. Its most visible garment became the white column gown and matching floor-length cape worn by Gwyneth Paltrow at the Academy Awards before the collection had been widely released.
