About this collection
Autumn/Winter 2017 menswear made Y/Project’s mature construction language immediately legible. Multi-cuff jeans, wire-supported lines and comparisons between historical rulers and rap imagery joined exaggerated volume to familiar street garments.
The season became an early signature marker because manipulation was no longer an isolated effect: doubling, bending and displaced proportion formed a coherent system across tailoring, denim and styling.
