Autumn/Winter 2022 brought Y/Project’s accumulated methods into a particularly dense co-ed runway: layered tailoring, altered denim, malleable wire, surreal accessories and the first Jean Paul Gaultier body-morph ready-to-wear capsule.

Printed bodies complicated the boundary between garment and anatomy, while the main collection retained its own displaced construction. Contemporary criticism identified the season as a possible authorial peak, and related objects later entered the Met and Musée des Arts Décoratifs.
