About this collection
Chairman examined formal dress and the performance of social power through enlarged collars, wide belts, cropped or close-fitted forms and substantial outerwear. Wool and leather appeared in grey, brown, khaki, camel, moss green and midnight blue.
Presented at Maison des Métallos, it was Serfaty’s final securely documented public Y/Project collection. A six-component ensemble entered the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in 2024 through a donation from Nathalie Serfaty.
