About this collection
The first eponymous womenswear collection presented loose black layers, abstract shaping, asymmetric hems and roughened surfaces at the Intercontinental Hotel. It established a Paris line distinct from Y’s and placed bodily distance, volume and non-conforming cut at the centre of Yamamoto’s international work.
