About this collection
A livestreamed hybrid of fashion film and lookbook replaced the physical Paris runway, with TAKAY’s imagery and fabrication details appearing within the edit. Corset, hoop and bustle references were left visibly in process across black sculptural coats and floor-length dresses, using incompletion to address an uncertain future and the pandemic’s unequal pressure on women.
