Introduction
Antonella Di Pietro is an Italian fashion executive and creative strategist born in Naples. Her career has combined product, image and brand leadership across international luxury companies. Early senior roles included production and design responsibilities for Carolina Herrera and work with Emanuel Ungaro in Paris, followed by a vice-presidential position at Salvatore Ferragamo.
From 2004 to 2012 Di Pietro held executive responsibilities within LVMH’s fashion division, working across houses including Emilio Pucci, Givenchy and Kenzo. She later held senior roles connected with Moncler, PVH, Tommy Hilfiger and Karl Lagerfeld, then served as Chief Brand Strategist at Tod’s from 2017 to 2020. These appointments placed her across collection direction, product development, image and the coordination of established brand identities.
By February 2024 Di Pietro was Vionnet’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Branding Officer for the house’s capsule-led return under ChimHaeres ownership. Vivid Memories of the Future was created by three independent designers under her guidance, with Di Pietro shaping the brand and product direction without sole design credit. By 2025 she had moved to La Martina as its first Creative Director, closing the Vionnet chapter of her career.
Design ethos
Di Pietro works across the point where product, visual identity and commercial positioning meet. Her senior roles have required fashion codes to remain recognisable across garments, campaigns, stores and market communication, with collection direction tied closely to materials, category structure and the image presented to customers.
At Vionnet, that approach centred on identifiable house signatures: draping, twisted fabric, asymmetry, lightweight knits, fringe and geometric motifs. The first capsule used these elements in compact contemporary pieces and revived historic jewellery ideas alongside ready-to-wear. Her contribution lay in directing the brand and guiding the designers responsible for the garments.
Across earlier luxury roles and her later La Martina appointment, Di Pietro has repeatedly worked with brands carrying established visual codes. She favours a clear connection between heritage and current product, using silhouette, textile, colour and category selection to make the identity visible without relying on archival reproduction as the sole creative device.

Career history
2024
Vionnet returned to active product commerce on 10 February 2024 with Vivid Memories of the Future, the first limited capsule of the ChimHaeres era. The relaunch abandoned a conventional seasonal calendar in favour of themed releases sold primarily through the house’s own digital channel.
2024
By February 2024 Antonella Di Pietro was leading Vionnet as chief executive and Chief Branding Officer during its return to market. She guided the first capsule’s independent design team and helped frame the revived house around limited releases, direct commerce and a renewed reading of Madeleine Vionnet’s codes.
