Introduction
Chris Kiprovski is a multidisciplinary designer, the founder of Cak Studio and co-founder of madre natura. He joined Jackie Galleghan in the label's commercial launch in December 2020, taking responsibility for the visual and brand systems surrounding her clothing while Galleghan retained garment design and production direction. His role established a close connection between the fashion label and an independent design practice from the outset.
Through Cak Studio, Kiprovski has shaped madre natura's typography, graphic identity, digital presentation and environmental design as the label expanded from a small Sydney launch into national runway and retail visibility. The work has remained consistent through the brand's circular initiatives, Australian Fashion Week appearances and wholesale growth, giving the changing collections a stable visual frame without competing with their material detail.
Design ethos
Kiprovski's work for madre natura is built on restraint and hierarchy. Typography, spacing, image treatment and environmental graphics are kept quiet enough for fabric, silhouette and garment construction to carry the strongest visual information, while the identity remains recognisable across e-commerce, campaign material and physical presentation.
That system also accommodates the label's environmental messaging without turning every touchpoint into an advocacy poster. The same controlled graphic language can frame maker profiles, repair services, circular initiatives and runway communication, allowing practical information and fashion imagery to coexist within one coherent identity.
