Overview
Paris Haute Couture Week is the FHCM’s couture calendar, held in January and July and built around the official haute couture system based in Paris. It brings together the maisons authorised to show couture, along with corresponding and guest members invited to the official calendar.
Unlike ready-to-wear weeks, the focus is on couture workmanship, salon tradition and garments made to couture standards. The week functions as the formal public stage for Paris couture, while also drawing fine-jewellery presentations, celebrity dressing attention and intense international press coverage.
