Stefano Gallici

Stefano Gallici is an Italian designer born in Teor in 1996. He studied fashion design at IUAV University of Venice and worked within Haider Ackermann and the Antonioli Group before joining the Ann Demeulemeester menswear studio. In June 2023 he was promoted to creative director following Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s single-season tenure.

Gallici presented his first runway collection for Spring/Summer 2024 and has since developed the house through distressed tailoring, rugged leather, layered transparency and a stronger utilitarian register. Alongside the runway programme, he introduced the Wardrobe line as a recurring group of shirts, blazers, denim and other staples, giving the post-founder brand a more stable product structure.

Gallici works from the house’s rock-inflected romanticism but gives it a more weathered and functional surface. Frayed shearling, distressed velvet, leather, faded denim, elongated coats and trailing ties are layered into silhouettes that appear accumulated rather than newly assembled. The treatment is tactile and deliberately imperfect, with wear, fading and abrasion used as part of the construction language.

His collections retain the founder-era tension between tailoring and drape while placing greater emphasis on utility, multi-pocketed garments and an everyday uniform. Wardrobe makes that direction explicit through repeatable staples, while the runway collections use atmosphere, music and styling to keep the clothes connected to subcultural image rather than polished heritage reproduction.
